| James from ottawa, ON reported on Friday, October 08, 2010, buying a 2010 Nissan cube, and saving $7,000 off of MSRP. Difficult negotiation Hunt Club Nissan. Started out fine with internet guy, then sales guy got involved. Same old story of: I will try to get the best price for you but it is up to the sales manager...Backwards and forwards, and oh, we forgot to tell you that there is a paint charge! Called Nissan, they knew nothing about it. No special paint. Oh you need the etching and security package, it is mandatory on all vehicles.... Basically it was like buying a car without CCanada data. I knew it was a skinny deal but they should either suck it up or not have referrals from you. On the other hand I laid it on the line with Tony and told him it was not a negotiation but a final offer. He may have had other motivations but it only took one phone call of 2 minutes. He called me back 10 minutes later and told me the deal was done. Mohammed Younis the business manger was also great. Everything done over the phone, then showed up signed and they came to pick me up when the car was delivered. No extra charges for bringing in the car from another dealer (as we were told that there would be from HC Nissan. Class all the way. The wholesale report was indispensable. Would never have known about $4k discount on an $18,000 car. Allowed me to get a great deal. Thanks. | ![]() | |

| Luc from Orleans, ON reported on Saturday, September 27, 2008, buying a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder, and saving $10,000 off of MSRP. The dealer was very friendly and helpful in choosing the vehicle. He was not pushy and precipitating the sale. The wholesale report allowed us to go for the best price right off the bat and not have to negotiate back and forth for hours. | ![]() | |

| Hector from Crysler, ON reported on Friday, September 04, 2009, buying a 2009 Nissan Sentra, and saving $1,000 off of MSRP. This dealer did not want to accept the figures suggested by Car Cost Canada. It took much negotiations, argumentation & determination to get to the bottom line. The deal went through. My daughter has her new car. The reason for choosing this dealer: convenience, was within walking distance of job site and in living area. Thank you. | ![]() | |

| Ken from Ottawa, ON reported on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, buying a 2008 Nissan Versa, and saving $500 off of MSRP. I found it very useful knowing the retail price, since it was an entry level vehicle I didn't want to waste my time trying to get a price that would be impossible. This vehicle had very little markup. It surprised me how little they make on this car. | ![]() | |

| Jacques from Orleans, ON reported on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, buying a 2008 Nissan Versa, and saving $1,000 off of MSRP. After doing our research with the help of your site, we chose the Nissan Versa. Luckily, 417 Nissan was on your list of reps. Elie knew we had the wholesale info. It made it easier on us. The info indicated that 3% to 6% above cost was a fair price to pay. With a small car, the margin is limited and equally the savings. Therefore, we started with an offer of 3% over cost and were enjoyably surprised when they accepted. We had a trade-in and got pretty much what the "Black Book" suggested. This is the first time I'm not at a loss when facing a sales rep. I felt pretty confident and prepared. I did not feel that I had been "had". Of course, you have to be careful, they can profit nicely from you with their extended warranties and rust protection plans. | ![]() | |
