| Jennifer from Ottawa, ON reported on Saturday, July 04, 2009, buying a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP. I chose Mitsubishi for a couple reasons. They have the best Warranty available right now (5 yr/100,000 km bumper to bumper and 10yr/160,000 km drive train). Most dealers only offer 3 years. I was debating between the 2010 Mazda 3 and the Lancer. The Lancer had a much smoother ride, and in a year everyone on the road is gonna have the 2010 mazda 3. When negotiating a price for the vehicle you want, definitely use the CCC Wholesale price as your bargaining chip, but don't over-do it. The dealership needs to make a profit too so don't expect everything for nothing. Otherwise when you get the vehicle, that's all your gonna get. Good Luck and enjoy. I love my new Lancer GTS!! | ![]() | |

The 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander ES 2WD offered the best combination of features and expected reliability for the price. The salesperson was very helpful and informative. | ![]() | |
| Julie from Hearst, ON reported on Sunday, December 06, 2009, buying a 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander, and saving $1,000 off of MSRP. Tell them straight up that you know what they paid for the vehicle and that your only willing to pay so much. Also, start your negotiations over email or the phone. See how much they are willing to move on the price even before you make it into the dealership. | ![]() | |

| Sean from Ottawa, ON reported on Thursday, February 03, 2011, buying a 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP. Dealer was chosen based on location (close to me) and that there was no local Mitsubishi "approved" dealers. The conversation quickly changed when I showed the Car Cost report. The sales group clearly new what it was, and I think they were concerned I had unrealistic expectations. I did not get quite as good of a deal as I might have, as they did not have the vehicle in stock - they had to get the trim level and color we wanted transferred from a dealer in Toronto (to Ottawa) and deal with the additional costs there. In the end, I think the CarCost report saved me time and maybe an additional $500. It allowed me to shortcut to their cost (minus manufacturer rebates) and force them to negotiate UP and justify costs pushing the price above their cost + fees. I did lead them to believe that I was thinking about buying the rust proofing and extended warranty packages to help get the price down. Of course when I got handed to the finance guy I didn't take any of those. | ![]() | |
| David from Ottawa, ON reported on Thursday, April 09, 2009, buying a 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander, and saving $1,000 off of MSRP. The company was eager to deal and knowing the invoice price helped me negotiate a good deal. I paid exactly what the invoice price was. | ![]() | |
| Kevin from Ottawa, ON reported on Thursday, May 07, 2009, buying a 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander, and saving $2,000 off of MSRP. The knowledge of the dealer invoice cost was a big help in negotiating the amount of the purchase. The only thing I was caught off guard with was the amount of the administration fees and the PDI fees. I didn't initially ask for clarification on these costs which created some issues. The dealer was very professional and courteous and knowing what I know now, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. | ![]() | |

| Ronald from Smiths Falls, ON reported on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, buying a 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP. After doing my homework on 7 SUV's we chose the Mitsubishi Outlander for price, equipment level, ride and handling. Great looks and of course, the undisputed best new car warranty in the market. Armed with my CCC Retail price report I contacted Bank Street Mitsubishi in Ottawa and was able to close the deal over the phone in 10 minutes. Sam Amouna even drove 80 km to pick us up and bring us in to take delivery. Total elapsed time: 3 days! I was very pleased with your service, thanks and I hope more people start using it to save some $$$. | ![]() | |
| Marcin from Orleans, ON reported on Tuesday, May 05, 2009, buying a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander, and saving $3,000 off of MSRP. I did not have much choice with Mitsubishi dealers within my area, but knowing what the real cost is and the incentives helped me a great deal to prepare a negotiating strategy. The dealer actually congratulated me for being such a great bargainer; a skill I normally do not possess. I usually buy quickly and find something I really like without thinking too much about finding ways to save money. This time it was different; a whole new experience. Thank you CCC, Marcin Gorny - Ottawa | ![]() | |
