First, find out what the dealer (same manufacturer are often the same) will take as smallest profit on a vehicle. Make it clear that's how you're going to deal. They're often very upfront either way. Some cars sell at list only. Some will go along with the smallest profit thing. Once you're being upfront and they're not, just walk away. Someone else will be upfront. Sometimes within the same dealership. Take your time. | | |
