Again, excellent experience dealing with this dealership and the same sale rep. This Acura MDX is bought for my parents who just totaled their 2002 Acura MDX on Coquihala Highway on the way back to Kelowna fron Vancouver in about Mid December 2008. Made a phone call to Ricardo to inquire about the availability of the car in silver and best price; very straight forward, he gave me the same $2750 off as the previous MDX that I've leased in Apr-2008, plus all the factory to dealership incentives, which bring the price down to about $39,000 + Taxes. Excellent deal (better then my own deal back in Apr-2008 :( ). Put $2000 down on credit card to commit the purchase and waiting for ICBC''s $19000 chq. for the total loss 2002 Acura MDX plus GST vochure. Will go pick up the car in few weeks. AGAIN, I have checked with Acura Victoria and Acura in Kelowna, none of the 2 dealerships would give me any $ off, and in addition they only offer me $8000 out of $10,000 incentive money from Acura to dealership! No choice to goto Burrard Acura in Vancouver again for my business. | | |

Current prices suggest that Canadian customers are victims of collusion by dealers between USA and Canada: dealers in USA will not sell to Canadians, warranties are not valid across the border. | | |

I've done numerous test drives on different mades and models on compact crossover, on top of researches done online. RDX proves to be the one that combines value, performance and luxury on this category. Dealer has been upfront in disclosing Honda's current cash back and financing incentives. Also being a current Acura owner, I am quite similar with Burrard Acura as I bought car here before. Whole Price Report makes bugeting and negotitation much easier, efficient and straight forward. |  | |

Let them know you are going to put a deposit down only if they give you a quote that meets what you are willing to pay for. Otherwise, just walk away. I used this trick and got $500 more off from the purchase price. | | |

And then deducted all available incentives; 5,000 for cash purchase and another 3,000 tradeable dollars. The offer was via email (but I did test drive the vehicle first, was assisted by the sales rep). One could probably get a better deal by going directly to the sales manager (saving commission to the sales rep) - but I decided we all need to make a living. The sales rep and dealer did not challange the 5% markup. Will never know if they would have gone lower - but I believe the TL type S to be a hot model. Lucky with the big incentives as the recession and new car sales drop is in full descent (June to Sept 2008). Bring your CarCostCanada printouts and do your math beforehand - VERY IMPORTANT. Also do your homework on the value of your used car if doing a trade in. Move fast on these big incentives, when they clearing out for the new year models - limited availability of color choices. | | |
