Buying a 2012 Acura TL, and saving $4000 off of MSRP.
Make sure you get the dealer to explain how the auto-start option works - you may be disappointed like I was and once it's installed, it's too late.
Avoid mentioning the Wholesale Price Report straight away. You end up on a completely different negotiating tact. The dealer will immediately switch gears and cajole you into accepting a price that's "a reasonable amount of profit over dealer invoice" and will ignore any suggestion that they get other incentives from Acura etc. In many ways, you loose negotiating power this way. Try to negotiate the best deal you can, then compare that to the dealer invoice (Wholesale Price Report). If you're not satisfied with the deal thus far, break out the Report and negotiate from there.
