My daughter wanted a honda civic. She is going to school at St Johns I showed the sales rep my Car Cost Canada report. He said Honda Canada would not take any more money off. done deal. The sales rep was very help full in showing my daughter about the car features.

I used the report to gauge how much I can get off the car. Using the tips here, I was able to go in and know what I was willing to pay and be able to walk away if they weren't willing to comprimise betwen the dealer and msrp prices. Instead of cash, though, the dealer is going to give us a credit towards some pricy winter tires. So in the end we both win as I am getting "free" tires, and they also get a fair profit. Not only that, they went above and beyond in terms of customer service when there was a minor goof. As a result, they tracked down the only other model in all of Atlantic Canada for us, and will eat the cost of the extra shipping from the other dealer.
