| Kevin from Fredericton, NB reported on Wednesday, January 07, 2009, buying a 2009 Ford F-150, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP. I chose Downeys after pricing the vehicle at 5 dealerships. Downeys gave me the best price and the sales person knew his stuff. Without car cost I would have not known that I was eligible for a graduate rebate from Ford for $750. Not one of the sales persons mentioned the grad rebate because of my age. They assumed my school days had ended many years before. I just completed my third degree. I offered the dealers 3% above dealer cost. It was obvious the sales persons did not like the fact that I knew what they were paying for the vehicle. I closed the deal on Christmas Eve and the sales person told me I had received an early Christmas gift. | | |
