Buying a 2011 GMC Sierra 3500HD, and saving $8000 off of MSRP.
I had previously purchased vehicles from Eagle Ridge and their service department is excellent. The vehicle prep was outstanding, the finance representative excellent, the sales manager very good, and the sales representative mediocre.
I initially visited the dealership and finally got an estimate as to the difference between a new truck and my 08 Sierra. I then subscribed to CarCostCanada and with the price report, I was able to go back and negotiate a substantially lower price.
As a result of my subscription, I was also contacted by a sales representative from Carter GM.
