| Angus from Halifax, NS reported on Wednesday, April 08, 2009, buying a 2009 Ford Escape, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP. I had a 2007 Escape and really liked it. I test drove a 2009 and liked that even more. I have dealt with Fairley and Stevens for a number of years and have found them to be reasonable to deal with. The wholesale Price report worked very well. My wife and I did our homework and it gave us much more confidence when we sat down with the salesman. | ![]() | |

| RAITH from Bridgewater, NS reported on Saturday, April 04, 2009, buying a 2009 Ford Ranger, and saving $1,000 off of MSRP. I chose the dealer, because they had the model with the options I wanted for the lower Fall 2008 sticker price (Base $17799 vs. $19299). I contacted them online through the Ford Canada dealer finder and online quote system. I told them I had the CCC report and knew what the markup on the vehicle is. I told them what I wanted for my used car based on the Black Book value and within 24 hours I had a offer from the dealer that was $1000 of the already lower sticker price. I meet with my online sales person the next day and they evaluated my car for trade-in and gave me a fair marked value based on the Black Book data I had. I had also confirmed the trade-in value with another Ford dealer before purchase. | ![]() | |
