I found a factory demo in which dealers receive cheaper than their normal stock. This means they'll go less than new car invoice price. I also paid no freight, gas tax, air tax and negotiated out the dealer administration fee. I also used the cash price rebate of $7000 as demos are still eligable for the new car promotions. |  | |

| Raymond from Waterloo, ON reported on Tuesday, July 05, 2011, buying a 2011 Acura RDX, and saving $5,000 off of MSRP. I wanted to trade in my 1991 Acura NSX for a new Lexus RX 350. Lexus of London wanted me to go all the leg work to find a buyer for the NSX. Ken Shaw Lexus told me they would take my NSX. I drove there from Waterloo, waited two hours for them to find a dealer/wholeseller to take the NSX. They failed to find one. Overall, it was a very poor experience with these two dealers. I walked into Fairview Acura and asked about a trade. They readily offered me a value much higher than I wanted. Buying a RDX became a no-brainer. The price report shortened the negotiation. It took less than 10 minutes. I would advise against Lexus unless you have no car for trade-in or ready to buy on the spot. The Lexus sales people showed little interests/effort in making me a Lexus owner. |  | |
