Went to several dealers and they recognized I had done my homework and were direct in giving prices. Best trade in value was from IVS and and the pickup and delivery arrangements were very good. Nice people to deal with. The Toyota dealer in Oakville was the second best I dealt with.

I think that Car Cost Canada should include a rate for the manufacturer section of the site, where consumers can also rate the various companies on after sales service. I think it would be particularly useful as most people treat you well before you buy, but after the sale can be a really different story. I think it would be good to know how difficult a time buyers have had in dealing with resolving issues with the manufacturer after making a purchase. I would rate Toyota as a zero in customer service and after sales support. I also feel that Car Cost Canada should include a price aggregate for vehicles based on the month of purchase. This would allow buyers to see which months are typically the best for buying a car. This would help ease the pain of finding out there was a big rebate on the car you bought the day after you purchased. Overall I am happy with Car Cost Canada and will recommend the service, but will tell friends to NEVER buy a Toyota due to the poor quality of customer service. I've found them to be rude, abrupt, abrasive, and unresponsive in the various dealings I've had, via phone and e-mail. I hate Toyota, and everything they stand for after having to deal with their customer service department, over a pricing concern with my vehicle. I hope Car Cost can make clients aware of the poor quality of service exhibited by Toyota - hopefully when a large number of people refuse to buy from them, they can change their ways.

I have purchased the 2010 Toyota Corolla 4dr Sdn Auto CE yesterday from the dealer you recommended in the car cost Canada Price report. The dealer name is Lisa Tsicolas (Independent Vehicle Services). My buying experience was very satisfactory. Very friendly and on-time service delivery. If I were to buy another vehicle my first choice will be I.V.S. I will recommend this dealer to anyone.

Independent Vehicle Services made the new car process so incredibly stress-free that it should serve as the business model for new car sales. As long as IVS is around (and with Lisa handling sales in particular) my wife and I will never need to set foot inside a "traditional" dealership and put up with their silly games, artificial add-ons and misleading/deceitful practices...especially the insane high-pressure meetings with their "Business Managers". Please. I'd rather be trapped on a remote island being forced to listen to a timeshare pitch than suffer through another dealership shell game. Thanks, Lisa; you ROCK!

Steve from Mississauga, ON reported on Sunday, May 27, 2012, buying a 2012 Toyota Prius c, and saving $1,000 off of MSRP.
The car I leased was in high demand, most dealerships only having access to a few of them for 2012. Without using Car Cost Canada and Independent Vehicle Services, it's unlikely that I would have received any discount and quite possible that I would not have gotten the vehicle at all (and very unlikely in the short timeframe that I was hoping for). CCC/IVS have access to a vast network of dealers/others and will do all the leg work tracking down and securing the vehicle of your choice. This is especially benificial if the vehicle is in high demand/short supply as mine was. The whole process was enjoyable and effortless from beginning to end. I would highly recommend both CCC and IVS.

Used IVS as a broker to lease the vehicle. A great way to buy. Deal completed over the phone, car delivered to my home. Dealers I talked to had no interest in selling the vehicle at the price I got through IVS. No dealer business manager trying to sell me warranty and undercoating. A great buying experience.
