I just showed them the report, the rep knew about it already and we negotiated the % of profit they are going to get from the deal.

The dealer was fine, however our sales rep told us our lease included 25000km/year, but it was actually 24000km/year. He thought there was a misprint in the brochure and never called us to clarify that the brochure was actually correct. Be careful and double check all information before purchasing. The 1000km/year was not a deal breaker, but it just didn't leave us feeling very good about the transaction in the end.

Nothing to recommend. CarCostCanada delivered EXACTLY as promised. I will use the service for every deal from now on, and I have already recommended it to several friends and colleagues.

Atchuthan from Markham, ON reported on Saturday, October 04, 2008, buying a 2009 Infiniti FX35, and saving $3,000 off of MSRP.
I told the Sales Rep that I was a member of Car Cost Canada which basically put me in the driver's seat (pun intended) and allowed me to negotiate what a mutually agreeable price and through the whole process the sales rep and his manager were very courteous and accomodating.

If you are looking for an Infiniti, please use Lisa Tsicolas, you will receive a much better deal than from any dealer. Infiniti of Willowdale, lied to me about availability of the vehicle, and talked me into something I have never done before, buy it the same day I walked in. I then found out on Monday I could have got a better deal from Lisa and another vehicle was on its way to the city. The dealer also told me someone else wanted the vehicle in the dealership that day.

Rob was great to deal with, very knowledgeable, and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure that I received a good deal, and that I was happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend him.

#1 ... Do your homework #2 ... Do your homework #3 ... Test drive the cars you are interested in purchasing/leasing (go in looking like you've just come from the gym ... NO SUITS!). #4 ... Ask the sales rep to have the sales manager join you in discussion; forget about the back and forth #5 ... Be serious! You want to buy a car but NOT today (i.e., within the next 3 weeks). #6 ... Ask for the BEST PRICE NOW ... "no bullshit" have them provide the price to you on a business card (keep your guard up ... be naive) #7 ... Do the above AGAIN at another dealer(s) (at least one other) #8 ... ONCE DECIDED, email a copy of carcostcanada report to sales rep and sales manager ... ask them for their best price NOW (you don't have time to visit dealership). Do the SAME with secondary dealer. WAIT FOR RESPONSE. #9 ... NOW you have the UPPER HAND! START YOUR NEGOTIATIONS. #10 ... DON'T BE INTIMIDATED! #11 ... NEVER PURCHASE at the beginning of the month. WAIT 'til end of the month - they have a quota to try to meet. (December 31 is a great time to buy; however, you may want to explore when dealers need traffic in the showroom - i.e., late february/march. #12 ... DO YOU HOMEWORK; DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED! Thanks Car Cost Canada! b

When comparing cars costs, please take into consideration whether you plan to buy or lease. When leasing the car, the lower car price and lease rate as provided by a particular dealer may not mean the lower monthly cost to you. The monthly cost is dependent on the residual value of the car as determined by the dealer. So, if at the end of the lease you do not plan to buy your car, you may actually pay less per month and overall over the term of the lease for a more expensive car.

Richard from Markham, ON reported on Friday, September 16, 2011, buying a 2011 Infiniti G37 Sedan, and saving $4,000 off of MSRP.
Could not have done the deal without the report. I chose the vehicle because of the dealer rebates which made it more competitive and I chose to use the multiple security deposits which dropped the lease rate to .1%.

Edward from Toronto, ON reported on Wednesday, October 07, 2009, buying a 2009 Infiniti G37 Sedan, and saving $5,000 off of MSRP.
List recent discounts that other members received on the report page. If none are available for that model offer information on different configurations or average for the manufacturer. Also provide offers from competing brands. This way, members may run additional reports for other models they are considering or for that matter all models they may be interested in. You may also want to suggest a range of what the car should sell for and not just make a note on grossing up the retailer cost. Put in the acceptable range for both financing and leasing.

Eric from Toronto, ON reported on Saturday, July 11, 2009, buying a 2009 Infiniti G37 Sedan, and saving $6,000 off of MSRP.
The dealer deducted the non-stackable factory rebate from the beginning so only had to negotiate against a $3700 profit. Got $1700 more off. Dealer wanted 6%. The dealer claimed to have the model and color I wanted in stock but as soon as the deal was struck the manager claimed it was sold and tried to substitute for another color. I staid firm and they got one from another dealer.
