| Damian from Medicine Hat, AB reported on Thursday, June 11, 2009, buying a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer, and saving $2,500 off of MSRP. Just as advised, I followed the suggested course of action CarcostCanada recommended and ended up paying only $700 over invoice cost: Offer 3-4% over invoice for the sales commission. Don't haggle about the costs the dealer has to pass along and then deduct any dealer diamond dollar savings in our favour. Add the GST/PST and then make your offer in as polite a manner as possible and you should have your deal. It works! |  | |
