| Siddharth from edmonton, AB reported on Thursday, October 21, 2010, buying a 2010 Lexus ES 350, and saving $3,000 off of MSRP. At the moment they have 0% leasing on all new 2010 cars. This helped me save 2700$ right there as lease of 2011 is roughly 4.9%. However, I had to make a downpayment of 4500$. This car costed me a total of $46 000 I did not use carcostcanada when i went to this dealer. I am providing information for all those who are yet to buy this car. | ![]() | |
| Terry from Edmonton, AB reported on Thursday, September 02, 2010, buying a 2010 Lexus ES 350, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP. Lexus has very few dealerships, and therefore no competition among dealers. Because of this they will not sell their vehicles in the typical 3-6% range. Expect closer to 9-10% above wholesale. | ![]() | |

| Jason from Edmonton, AB reported on Thursday, April 17, 2008, buying a 2008 Lexus IS 250, and saving $1,000 off of MSRP. Lexus has already made an adjustment on their pricing for "Canadian Pricing". The difference is about $4650.00. The sales manager indicated that both the dealership and Lexus ate the costs (therefore cutting their profits). I also went to a Mercedes and BMW dealership, and found they do not budge on their prices (even with the report). When I presented the report to my salesperson, he questioned the accuracy (how up-to-date) of the report and didn't really consider it as a bargaining tool (in addition to him never hearing of Car Cost Canada). They did lower the price a bit, but I found that instead of taking money off the price, they were more willing to add accessories and such (3M or winter floor mats). Also, the sales managers are more inclined to make a deal on a slow day. Unfortunately, everyday that I went in to the dealership, it was extremely busy. If you can find the exact vehicle that you want, and go to different dealerships to get the lowest possible price (which I did for my previous vehicle), I found that worked quite well. Unfortunately, there is only 1 Lexus dealership in Edmonton, and Lexus of Calgary wouldn't move on their price at all. | ![]() | |

| David from Edmonton, AB reported on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, buying a 2010 Lexus RX 350, and saving $500 off of MSRP. I chose the RX350 because of write-ups in Consumer Reports magazine and other online reviews. There is only one Lexus dealer in the Edmonton area so I didn't really have any choice. I showed the salesman my CarCost Report but he said because the RX350 was their best selling model he couldn't discount the price. They have a finance rate of 3.9% but will take .1% off the rate for every $1000.00 of down payment. The only thing he was willing to do was throw in a set of free all weather mats. | ![]() | |
| Jatinder from Edmonton, AB reported on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, buying a 2010 Lexus RX 350, and saving $1,000 off of MSRP. I chose the vehicle because it was the one we liked the best after test drives and it also had the best gas consumption from all except the ES350. We did show the dealer rep the Wholesale Price Report - however his comment was that they do not really care too much about the report and Lexus just does not entertain negotiation on pricing. We could have walked away to see if he was really serious or if he was just playing his end of the deal - however we had pretty much decided on this vehicle and eventually he did agree to an approximately $1,000 discount. | ![]() | |
