hose the Equinox after test driving the Escape, CRV & Rav4. That brought it down a choice between the CRV & the Equinox. There was a Equinox supply on the lot, but a CRV with the options I wanted would take weeks. Since I liked the cars equally that was the decision point. The Wholesale Price Report came out early in the negotiations and it''s suggestion to offer 3-4% above wholesale was my firm stance. I had picked up the Equinox brochure at another dealer & simply said that if they wouldn't take my offer then I''d go to that other dealer. That was really the extent of the negotiating, I wouldn't budge and they eventually agreed though I was there for 3 hours.

Choose one dealership and visited. Test drove the van. Once i decided what i needed, then bargained with that dealer ship for one price ($20,000 all in). The dealership i visited didn''t agreed to it I called various dealers after knowing that there were good factory discounts for the Uplander. Markville chevy was the closest on the phone. Went to them and bought the van for $20,300
