Buying a 2023 Acura MDX, and saving $2000 off of MSRP.
Fantastic Salesperson and a fantastic dealership to work with. This is the 3rd Acura vehicle purchased from this dealership through the same salesperson. I contacted other dealerships to compare and check their willingness to negotiate. NWA always comes out on top. Dealership loyalty also plays a part in good negotiation.

The dealer's view on the sale definitely changed when the car cost report was brought into the discussion. They insisted on seeing a printout but after that they automatically conceded and were open to prices lower than previously discussed.

This is our second time using car cost reports to negotiate with Northwest Acura. They are excellent to deal with and got the MDX at a price we thought was fair including our trade-in. So the total savings was a combination of retail discount and trade in increase compared to where we started.

It helps to know how much they're paying and how much I can negotiate. In my case, most of the discount was from a cash rebate which was advertisd by Acura but its still good information.

Sent email to dealership and asked for best price based on CCC report and received advertised and un-published rebate. Went to dealer and negotiated another 1% off their invoice cost.
