Sam from Vancouver, BC reported on Friday, February 03, 2012, buying a 2012 Lexus CT 200h, and saving $1,000 off of MSRP.
Send the report to the dealer through email first and ask them to see if they are willing to match what the report suggest. Save time and effort.

Gerro from Vancouver, BC reported on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, buying a 2012 Lexus CT 200h, and saving $500 off of MSRP.
Because demand was exceeding supply for CT200h, I couldn't bargain much even with the invoice price information. Dealer was okay. Mostly because they are the only one willing to discount slightly from MSRP

I used my report to get the price that I felt the new car is worth. Also, because of the discount, I was able to save an additional 3% on my PST. Though most dealers do give you discounts, it wasn't the price that I was really vying for. Only Lexus Regency in Vancouver, B.C. gave me the deal that I wanted.

Steven from Port Coquitlam, BC reported on Tuesday, July 14, 2009, buying a 2008 Lexus IS 250, and saving $2,500 off of MSRP.
I chose this dealer mainly because of the price and what's left. I decided to get the car in September and apparently the inventory has gone very low. Most dealers are pushing out their 08s for 09s models. I would recommend buyers to start their car shopping/test/research drive around May-July. Once you have decided on the car, start comparing prices around between July-August. In September, you might get the most bargain power (better deal) but you might end up with display model. So Price/Option is proportional in some sense, at least in my opinion. When talking money, Carcost report becomes super handy. Bargaining with the report in hand shows that you are a serious buyer (despite of your age, the way you dress). It also tells the sales that you are here to fight for a reasonable price (win-win deal) so "Don't high ball me - I know my stuff!". So remember to set a budget and stick to it...at the same time show that's how much you are willing to pay for the car. Think of it as "I deserve this amount of discounts".. instead of "I hope you could gimme a deal out of conscience"... Sales dun BUY that!

I saved $2000 with the factory to dealer cash back. One dealer I went to wouldn't give me the discount until I showed them the report. I walked out and went to another dealer to buy the car afterwards.
