Prior to finding carcost.com I had visited my dealership which I had purchased two previous VW's. I spoke to the same salesperson that I had dealt with in the past and he gave me what he said was a good price on the Jetta. I told him that I needed to think of it overnight and thankfully when I came home I was looking up something on another site when I found carcost.com. As I entered the information and saw the wholesale price I began to feel like the salesman was trying to pull a fast one. Then, with the knowledge of what the wholesale price was I went to Roseland in Burlington and said to them that I wanted the best price and they gave me a price that was less than my previous dealer by over $1000. I asked to sharpen the pencil and the salesperson asked what I thought was fair. I told him and he said he would have to check with the owner. Five minutes later I had a deal and saved over $1500 from the other dealer. This is basically a sunroof. The service at Roseland has been the best experience ever. I tell as many people as I can how customer oriented they are at Roseland. | | |
