| Blake from Saskatoon, SK reported on Saturday, November 07, 2009, buying a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer, and saving $2,000 off of MSRP. We purchased another vehicle 2 years ago from the same dealer/sales representative. Our sales representative (Josh) was very friendly, low pressure and easy to deal with. I knew which vehicle I wanted and this is the only Mitsubishi dealer within less than 200km from where we live. I was much better prepared when buying this time and had done more research into negotiating for a car purchase, including obtaining the Wholesale Price Report. I showed him the Wholesale Price Report early on in the negotiations so it was clear that I knew what the markup was, but at same time let him know that I understood they needed to make some profit on the sale. I initially offered them 3% above invoice minus the $500 rebate as suggested and ended up getting the vehicle for $300 above this without having to negotiate very much. I saved about $1800 below MSRP. I would advise other people to research the cost of any extras (block heater and so on) because the markup on these is very high and you can negotiate a much better price. Also, don't be afraid to ask the dealer to waive fees such as the documentation fee as many will do this to make the sale. In general, I felt we were treated very well by the sales rep and manager at Saskatoon Mitsubishi and would recommend buying a vehicle here. | ![]() | |
| Deryl from Casa Rio, SK reported on Thursday, January 24, 2008, buying a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer, and saving $500 off of MSRP. We felt that value for the dollar was more evident with the vehicle that we chose to purchase. The dealer is just down the road from us and that was certainly another benefit to our selection. The wholesale price report helped as we had believed that more markup was included in the retail price than it really was. This verified what we were being told by the dealership. | ![]() | |

| Owen from Saskatoon, SK reported on Wednesday, August 06, 2008, buying a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP. The wholesale page with incentives was instrumental. They were quite surprised in the amount of detail I had. The sales rep was relatively new and had never seen one before. I was surprised at all the added fees. (e.g. $699 to "winterize" with a block heater and special wheel nut locks) My savings are nearly $3000 without the fees. | ![]() | |
