I chose the dealer based on the available stock for the model and factory installed options that I wanted. Given I was buying a 2008 model, large factory discounts and rebates applied. Knowing the discounts being offered by other manufacturers and dealers, I requested a substantial additional discount, including high value for my trade-in. They came back with a price close to my offer, and they were willing to negotiate additional options and services (such as the full rust-proofing package) into the agreed upon purchase price. Southbank Dodge was very pleasant to deal with and offered excellent service across every part of their organization (from sales rep to sales manager to finance manager). This was one of the most stress-free and enjoyable car buying experiences I've ever had. Given the large stock of remaining 2008 models, and the general decline in sales for most manufacturers, now is a very good time to get exceptional deals on a new vehicle. | ![]() | |

The fact that the salesperson knew that I had "their" cost on the vehicle really took the "Balogna" factor out of the negotiation process.
