| Frank from Toronto, ON reported on Friday, June 04, 2010, buying a 2010 Suzuki SX4 Hatchback, and saving $2,000 off of MSRP. I used the CCC recommended dealer. I also used the "Request a quote" option from the Suzuki Canada's website to get quotes from 2 other dealers in the GTA. Oddly both of the other dealers quoted a lower price than the recommended dealer. I also ran into difficulty understanding the section about other cash incentives and it required several emails and phone calls before anyone from CCC support was able to explain this incentive. It turned out to be a cash incentive if a customer pays cash and could not be combined with the 0% promotion that was heavily advertised. I suspect the other 2 dealers were quoting me prices based on me paying cash and using the cash incentive that comes into play. It should be noted that although CCC gives you the dealer cost on a given vehicle and you can use this price for your negotiations, you should be aware that the dealer will still try to get you to buy all the other profit boosting tactics that they try to sell every customer. These include extended warranties, rustproofing and paint protection. Almost none of these things are a good value and should be declined. |  | |

Like the website advises, I calculated a 3.0% markup from the dealer invoice and subtracted the $2,500.00 factory incentive. I then subtracted the $299.00 admin fee and made that the cash offer for the Suzuki SX-4 AWD. This offer was accepted without any haggling on their part. This took place at the Mississauga Suzuki in the Erin Mills auto mall. The actual discount from retail was $3,506.00 |  | |
