This dealer was far better in service than the dealership recommended by Car Cost Canada (Richmond Hill VW). I was given very good test drives in comparison to the recommended dealership. I did not have to use a sales person's dirty vehicle which happened at the Richmond Hill location. All of my questions were answered, and still continue to be answered by my sales representative, and anyone else who can help. The price report that I got from Car Cost Canada was used to compare the pricing that was given to me by the sales representative. Once I decided on everything that I wanted in the car, I brought the report in. We immediately negotiated on the price from what was listed in the report. I even got a small discount on an addition to the car because of Car Cost Canada. When negotiating, however, remember to stand your ground on what total price you want and not move from that. I am saying this because the person who is countering your offer, can give you an extremely hard time, as well as, being very rude. |  | |

I let the sales rep go back and forth between us and his manager and stayed firm when we reached what I knew was very close to his absolute bottom. I went on the last day of the month so it was down to the wire to make quota and also I chose to take any vehicle that was already in the lot that matched what I wanted, staying flexible on colour. By doing this, I also managed to get an extra $600 upgrade for free since that was the only car that came close to what I actually wanted to purchase. | | |
