I also included a slightly discounted price on winter tires on rims in my firm offer to buy the package. The dealer accepted my offered price without haggling. The rep (who is also the assistant sales manager) immediately took off 800$ for a price of 30040$. We said we would think about it and would be going to CarCost to get a price report. We came back the following day, and haggled a bit over the price, but all went okay. I did mention that I had a carcost report, but I did not have to show it to him. So the total cost for the Jetta Wagon Comfortline with Sun Roof and side curtain airbags was 29300$. | | |
